Role Overview:
We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to own and grow the Benelux market. As a Sales and Development Manager, you will demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit by developing and implementing a sales strategy, monitoring and evaluating sales activity, and achieving specific sales and revenue targets. In addition, you will excel in developing a pipeline, creating and closing new opportunities.
This is a role with full ownership of Belgium and Netherlands, designed for an experienced, autonomous sales professional who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, shaping go‑to‑market approaches, and delivering results end‑to‑end.
You will be responsible for creating and executing the sales strategy for Benelux, generating your own leads, managing the full sales lifecycle independently, and positioning the full IFS portfolio as a long-term solution for clients.
To do this, you'll be able to rely on Arcwide’s capabilities (regional and group) to help you build value propositions. You'll use your knowledge of the sector and information from the installed base shared with us by IFS, to qualify deals, and lead to sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
What you can expect from the role:
Individual Revenue Generation:
Drive sales growth through effective lead generation, prospecting and conversion strategies.
Own the end-to-end sales process including demand generation, understating customer needs, owning the RFI/RFP process, building a business case for change and winning business and utilizing resources within a matrix organization to get the job done.
Develop and maintain key customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Continued pipeline building and demand generation activities to achieve required pipeline coverage.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Work with partners (especially IFS and BearingPoint) to better penetrate accounts, creating joint sales opportunities to maximize value while providing strong delivery plans that lead to happy referenceable customers.
Own and grow sales exclusively within Belgium and Netherlands
Performance Metrics:
Regularly report on sales metrics and provide insights to senior management.
Manage and maintain up to date CRM and Account information, along with sales cadence, administration and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Represent Arcwide as a trusted advisor, not a transactional seller
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective customer engagement strategies.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs.
Conduct regular market research to identify new business opportunities and potential challenges.
Use market insights to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
Provide regular reports on sales performance and budgetary adherence.
What we will look for in your CV:
Experience in B2B enterprise software or IT services sales
Proven background selling complex solutions within Software, ERP or Enterprise systems in a consultancy environment
Demonstrated success owning and delivering the full sales lifecycle
Strong ability to generate leads and build pipeline independently
Experience developing and maturing new markets or territories
Commercially curious, analytical, and confident experimenting with new sales approaches
Autonomous, resilient, energetic, and results-driven
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Fluent in Flemish and Dutch (speaking either French or English as well would be beneficial but not essential).
